Hospital A has been using Reality Systems for Document Conversion for years. Before utilizing Reality's Services, Hospital A used to send all of its patient files to storage. Now, Hospital A lets Reality Systems handle all aspects of their file retrieval. Reality Systems picks up the files from Hospital A. Reality Systems prepares these files for scanning, scans and indexes them according to Hospital A's specifications, while following HIPAA guidelines. The very next day, the images and indexed information are burned onto a CD and Reality delivers this to Hospital A. The original boxes are held at Reality Systems until they are ready for destruction. Hospital A uses this CD to load the information into their enormous RealImaging Retrieval System. Whenever a patient file is requested, a quick search for the patient number pulls up the appropriate file and the images are ready for printing or emailing to the appropriate person. Hospital A is pleased with how easy filling patient file requests has become.
